Influencing the world for inclusion and understanding

Alina, Laurens & Paul. Raising our son, navigating life, and finding the funny side of special-needs parenting.

Our story

Hi, I'm Paul. I live near Düsseldorf with my wife Alina and our son Laurens (we mostly call him Lauri). Lauri is five, he has a rare genetic condition called Aicardi-Goutières syndrome (AGS), and he gets around in a wheelchair, usually faster than we can keep up.

Our days are full of appointments, physio, therapy, forms and meds. They're also full of laughter, music in the car and Lauri having the time of his life in places nobody expected him to.

We started Little Incluencers to share the real version of that life: the ups, the downs, but mostly the ups. If it makes one place more accessible, one parent feel less alone, or one person a bit more curious instead of awkward, it's worth it.

So far, around 45,000 people have watched our Reels. That's a whole stadium. Thank you!

What we share

  • Inclusion, with a smile

Everyday moments that show disability isn't something to tiptoe around. Ask us anything, we've heard it all.

  • Accessibility finds

Places, playgrounds, skateparks, shops and gadgets that actually work for wheelchair users, and the ones that still need to catch up.

  • Real life with AGS

Therapy days, equipment, the endless medical admin and the tips that make it a little less chaotic.

  • Special-needs parenting

Honest, funny and sometimes tired. For other parents who get it, and for everyone who wants to.

Help Laurens get his assistance dog

An assistance dog would give Lauri more independence, calm and company, and give us all a little more freedom. Training one is a big cost, so we've set up a GoFundMe.

Every donation, like and share helps. Thank you to everyone who has already supported him.
